Essence Massage Review

At the heart of relaxation

I had an appointment booked with Kathryn from Essence Massage for a full body Swedish massage.

This was the first Massage I'd had in my home so although I was thoroughly looking forward to a nice relaxing massage I was also slightly nervous, would the door knock or phone ring whilst I was having my massage were my concerns.

My husband was at work and children at school and it was mid-morning when Kathryn arrived with all of her kit.

Kathryn was extremely professional and friendly chatting whilst she set up her equipment, I didn't have to put myself out at all as she even brought her own towels and drink.

When the table was ready and I had filled out a consultation card, I got to sample and choose the massage oil which would be used on me during the massage which I thought was a lovely touch.

Whilst I got undressed and positioned on the bed Kathryn discreetly made her way into the kitchen to give me some privacy.

I must say with a busy lifestyle I was well overdue a relaxing treat and that is just what I got.

My massage was relaxing yet rejuvenating too.

Kathryn worked on my shoulder & back area with firmer strokes as I had a lot of tension built up in that area, I only fully noticed this after the massage was over and my arms and neck area felt loose and weightless like a really heavy shopping bag had been removed from both shoulders, a weight truly lifted off my body.

I expected after the massage to feel tired and a little sluggish instead I felt like I had a real spring in my step, my mood felt lighter too!

One positive from having the massage in your own home is you can relax straight afterwards with a nice cup of tea curled up on the sofa for half hour before the school rush, dressed however you please, you cannot do this in a beauty salon!

Kathryn offers various treatments including treatments for the mum to be designed for pregnant ladies 12 plus weeks to promote general relaxation for expectant mums, smooth out knots & reduce swollen legs and feet.

For a New mum a much deserved massage and treatment focusing on easing away aches and pains brought about by labour, feeding, or carrying your new baby is offered.

Both are fantastic gift ideas for expectant mums and new mums and for these and all the other treatments gift vouchers can be purchased. This would make a fantastic change from yet another baby gro!

Kathryn is VTCT Qualified in Anatomy, Physiology and Swedish Body Massage.

I would definitely recommend Kathryn for a massage, It was a pleasure to have her in my home and I know I will be welcoming her back again very soon.

For the men reading this please don't feel left out, Kathryn caters for men too.

My husband is already looking into having this done and buying me a treatment for birthday gift.

Amazing value and superb professionalism, you truly will

enjoy.
