Premier Inn Manchester Trafford Centre West Review

Premier Inn Manchester Trafford Centre West

On a Family Weekend away to a Gaming Event at Event city next to the Trafford centre we needed a hotel that was close by.

The Premier Inn Trafford Centre West Provided not just this but large amounts of ample free secure parking and a very impressive exterior that you would normally associate with a 4 star Hotel.

My Husband who had never stayed in a Premier Inn before looked very relieved when we reached the Hotel as the Hotels charge such a surprising low price I think he expected very poor quality.

We arrived at the Hotel hours before check in time but were eager to drop off our bags where they could be safe rather than left in the boot of a car all day.

The reception staff happily helped label up all of the bags and there was quite a few and helped me place them in a room for safe keeping.

After a fantastic day out at Play Expo we returned exhausted so we were very pleased to find such friendly staff waiting to check us in and then it was off to our rooms to relax.

One thing I like about this Hotel is that staff are professional but at the same time  friendly and down to earth.

Our room was a family room and was surprisingly large and spacious with a King Size bed, and two singles, one which I believe was a put you up bed all with nice clean white crisp bed linen.

The room has a small bathroom attached with a Toilet and large shower with a seat inside which my youngest son thought was amazing so he could rest at the same time as having a shower typical and made us laugh!

The room came with simplistic furniture so looked uncluttered and fresh, Freeview TV, Tea making facilities and space to hang plenty of clothes.

We were so tired from the days fun that we decided to order Takeaway and eat in our room and reception were more than happy to provide us with a choice of local Takeaway Menus and more Tea, Coffee and Milk as we needed it as my husband drinks tea and coffee like it's going out of fashion.

If we hadn't been so tired and had another busy day ahead the next day we would have definitely sat in the bar area downstairs as it looked so cosy and had people in the bar and restaurant area enjoying a drink and a chat.

After a great relaxing sleep I tried out the shower before breakfast, I hate to say but I was a little disappointed by the performance of the shower as the water pressure seemed very low as it wasn't the most powerful shower I have used, the toilet flush also had poor water pressure so I can only presume the area has the issue with water pressure and not the hotel.

At breakfast We were seated straight away and the server went through how breakfast at the premier inn works which I thought was a nice touch and we were asked if we wanted any special orders which my husband and son asked for some poached eggs making.

In the breakfast self-serve area they was an array of fruits, yogurts, toast, crumpets, more cereals than I could count  and of course a full cooked breakfast.

There were 3 different fresh fruit juices and teas and coffees including cappuccinos and Lattés, we were certainly spoilt for choice.

We left the Hotel for another day at Play Expo refreshed and rejuvenated after such a pleasant stay in a really relaxed and friendly Hotel.

Plenty of smiles from the HIRST family all round.
