They offer gifts that you would not normally come across on the high street, I was very pleased when i was sent two toys suitable for both a boy and a girl to review.

The girls gift was a 'Make your own lip balm  kit' this came beautifully presented and I for one could not wait to make the lip balm, I am just a big kid at heart.

I resisted however and waited for the chance to make the lip balms with my two nieces Lydia 9 and Amelia 13 years of age. 

I just had to get their opinions on the product with them being the targeted age this website aims their products at. The instructions where really simply with amazing step by step tutorial. We were unable to go wrong well we hoped not!

The kit contained everything you required to get started apart from 25ml sunflower or olive oil, which practically everyone have in their cupboard.

Surprisingly Turning Pink How Lovely, The Smell was Amazing

The Girls managed to follow the step by step guide with very little help from the adults in fact the only help they received was when we melted the oil, bees wax and cocoa butter in the pan.

When we added the Mica Powder to the blend the smell from the cocoa butter and bee's wax fill the room of our house.

As we carried on stirring the ingredients started to turn pink as you can see to our surprise, This is where we got to the fun part with help the girls poured the hot liquid into the lip balm pots provided and we left the to set in the fridge for 15 minutes. The finished product was like something you would get from the body shop very natural to feel and with a lovely pink tint of colour to the lips once applied.

With labels and bags included the girls packaged these up for Xmas presents for their mothers and one each fr them selves as of course they did the hard work!

 I was extremely impressed with the tutorial sheet as on the back it explained everything you needed to know about all the ingredients from the bees wax to an explanation on why this kit is chemical free and the packaging is 100% bio degradable and made right here in the UK by the Home Made Company.

For the Boys we were kindly sent a 7 IN 1 RECHARGEABLE SOLAR TRANSFORMER BY OWI 

This is a solar science kit just begging to be put together and encourage creativity. I love projects that reward kids with a sense of pride and accomplishment and this product will do that.

Doing it himself should be a fun project as it has all snap together plastic parts (no screws, tools required) It has 7 different modules: 2 power charging stations and 5 different vehicles that are a Solar Car, Concept Car, Bulldozer, Dump Truck and Concept Racer. He will also get a chance to learn and apply solar energy. 

Riley required a small amount of assistance and help from his grandad who I think was more than happy to help and Riley had to keep reminding him who the toy was meant to be for. The finished article was amazing and they gave it a test run for us and it provided hours of fun.
