I tested this Learning game system with two children of different ages to get their thoughts and views.
I must admit as he is 10 it was very simple for him and didn't really challenge him as it should do so because of this I definitely agree with the age range it displays on the box.
Installation was quick and simple and the children aged 6 and 10 both could download the free game and register their details with ease.
The console is very solid, chunky and seems pretty much childproof ( we have had a few drops already and it is still working perfectly)
It resembles very much the old Nintendo DS console which I think attracted my son's attention in the first instance.
I am very impressed as a parent that not only are you having fun but learning too and as I previously worked in Education this is obviously very important to me as it will be to all Parents.
The system comes with a stylus that thankfully is attached ( Finally someone has listened to my cries over missing stylus pens)
You do not even have to leave the house to purchase games as there is a library of 300+ cartridges and app downloads available to purchase online, Since registering I have also been sent 3 for 2 offers on games purchases and my son even got a Happy Birthday email!
It reminds me of a cross between a Nintendo DS and an IPod Touch only cheaper, sturdier and actually helps your child's education without them even knowing it.They can not mistakenly purchase extras in the game either as they can with IPhones/Ipads which can cost parents a fortune.
The biggest Pro is me is the fact that us Parents can track and check our child's progress as they play and see what they excel or struggle at.
The biggest Con for me is as you purchase the apps online you can not really ask friends & Relations for games for Birthday & Christmas Gifts.
My children & Nephew have yet to find any low points and love the fact that you can purchase games such as Spongebob & Disney's Brave.
