Frankie & Benny's Cardigan Fields,Leeds

My family paid a visit to Frankie & Benny’s cardigan field, kirkstall road Leeds for a family meal and we had the best dining experience we have had in a long time.
The service was outstanding, the food truly irresistible and the atmosphere warm and friendly.
The menus range from sandwiches to the Frankie & Benny’s mixed grill platter a 23oz meat feast which was a must have for my bodybuilder husband.
I opted for a Mediterranean vegetarian burger served with a mountain of crispy house fries and a tomato chilli relish on the side, one of the tastiest vege burgers I have tasted and cooked perfectly.
My eldest son had the cheese burger and didn’t leave a crumb, whilst my youngest had a huge choice from the children’s menu, with a choice from the kids menu at £3.95 or for younger dinners with a larger appetite the junior menu at £6.45.
They are 9 choices on the kids menu to choose from including spaghetti bolognase, pasta, omelette, burger and pizza and on the juniors menu a whopping 12 choices including a 6oz burger and pizza with any three toppings. I must add on both menus the pizza is huge a massive 10”.All meals come with an optional side of veg, salad or Heinz baked beans (helping their way to 5 a day)
Both menus come with a free dessert including ice cream sundee, fruit salad and hot chocolate pancake and a free unlimited refill soft drink (juice also available).I lost count the amount of times we had re-fills and staff were always at hand and happy to do so. My son had the pizza and gave it 10 out of 10.
Kids packs are given when you are seated to ensure your little ones are entertained and organic baby food is available for £1.75.
For dessert we really over indulged, I had the fantastically creamy ice cream, both boys had a very generous (adult portion) of chocolate brownie fudge cake with its own little jug of cream. My husband had a cookie & cream explosion, a giant soft baked milk chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoop of brownie & cream ice cream, red berries, lashings of cream, crushed toffee and chocolate sauce bellissimo!
A fantastic time was had by all with special thanks to Carl Broadhurst who looked after us above expectation and had a kind and friendly manner with the children; also thanks to Donna Rodwell who gave us such a fantastic welcome and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble both a credit to Frankie & Benny’s.
