SnoozeShade Review
Snooze Shade is a unique blackout
blind for prams, carrycots, pushchairs and buggies (in flat-lying or upright
modes). This innovative baby sleep product was created by a British mother
specifically to help babies and toddlers sleep for as long as needed in a pram
or pushchair. Snooze Shade attaches to the buggy's frame quickly and easily
using Velcro straps. Snooze Shade’s elasticated top and sides allow a flexible
fit and the straight bottom seam lets your child's legs poke through
comfortably as they get longer. Snooze Shade fits twin and triplet strollers
with hoods where each child has its own hood. Simply use one per baby and then
you needn't disturb one if the other wakes up. It can also be used with
rear-facing child car seats as long as they have a hood--excellent for blocking
out the light from street lamps if you are travelling at night.
I have always struggled getting my
little one off to sleep even in his pram he just didn't nod off easily not like
my first son who used to go straight to sleep as soon as he was in his pram.
Since having a snooze shade at the ready
whenever my 16 month old nods off in his pram, his sleeping pattern has greatly
improved. He used to sleep for about 15 minutes in the pram, now when I pop the
blackout fabric over him he will sleep for an hour or more. A great little
invention, all mothers should have one.
The Snooze shade fits neatly on and
with a number of Velcro straps I can get a secure fit the zip is really handy
too to have a sneaky peek to see if my little monster is still asleep. The
black shades him well and keeps the light out for when he sleeps. The snooze shade is also a lifesaver in the sun and on holiday and would recommend this
product to anyone thinking of protecting their child from UV Rays far better
than any sun canopy I have ever tried.
It also attaches easily to any type
of buggy and is very compact when off buggy, and comes in a handy little pouch
for storage.
I can honestly say I have discovered a ‘Mum Must have’ instead of buying new mums and mums to be pretty baby grows & bibs get them a snooze shade and they will love you forever, I just wish these would have been available when my eldest son was younger.
