Russell Hobbs Easy Store Iron with Pour & Store Funnel Review

                        Russell Hobbs Easy Store Iron

I was curious when I tried out the new Easy Store Iron by Russell Hobbs, How would the Pour & Store Funnel really work?

I am always losing the jug for my Iron or sometimes the little jugs that come with them are far too small and you are constantly having to re-fill them.
Another bugbear I have with Irons is filling them with water in really awkward places especially when the Irons are warm, there has been plenty of times I have spilt water over the clothes I am trying to Iron, over myself or worse have burnt myself.

With the Easy Store Iron it features a removable water funnel for easy filling that stores neatly in the base. The cord also wraps and clips around the base, so iron and accessory are neatly stored together rather than getting damaged in cupboards and causing a mess.

With a family of four needing clean Ironed clothes for school every day and a Husband needing a fully Ironed Police Uniform 7 days a week I normally Iron with a Steam Generator  to save on time and creases.

I was happy though to give this new very stylish looking Iron from Russell Hobbs a try especially as it is a 2400 Watt Iron.

Filling it up was extremely easy and ticked every box on my list of requirements and no spilt water or burnt fingers in sight.

The Iron heated up fast and would be great for any quick Ironing emergency and I have plenty of those in this house!

With my Steam Generator as great as it is for removing creases it is very annoying when it runs out of Water I have to wait anything from 10 - 20 minutes for the cap to open before I can refill and start Ironing again.
With the Easy Store Iron I didn't have any wait time before I could fill it with water again and carry on  ironing.

I ironed various items Shirts, School trousers ect with my own Steam Generator Iron compared to the Easy Store Iron and the results were pretty much even.
Both sets of clothes looked pretty good and crease free even for me!
The only downside to the Easy Store Iron compared to a steam Generator Iron was the length of time it took to Iron the clothes, It did take longer to Iron with the Easy Store Iron but that is expected when it is at the side of a big steam machine.

I love the fact that I can keep this all together in one place safely in my cupboard ready to just grab and Iron whenever I need it.
I can use it for when I need to do any amount of Ironing but for me it will be perfect for when I need a few items or just that Emergency shirt ironing on the morning before school, Quick to set up, Fill with water and gives fantastic results first time.
