Chester Zoo A great family day out!
I visited during the school holidays with my husband and two sons 9 & 4 years old.
We had plenty of wows and look at that animal all day long.
With so many animals to see and all the information to read about them there isn’t much more you need, but at Chester Zoo there is so much more to see and do.
See the new Cheetah cubs and then buy a cuddly toy one from the gift shop to take home or better still Adopt one!
Until 8th October check out the Dinosaurs at large, you can come and meet the enormous Terrible Lizards, including Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Baryonyx, Dilophosaurus and the awe-inspiring Tyrannosaurus Rex. The latest additions to the zoo move roar and some even spit water! It took my youngest son a while before he realised they were not actually real and in fact Dinosaurs are extinct.
For lunch we visited Junes pavilion where we found a great selection of freshly cooked food most prepared to order, food to suit all tastes and they even provided a family meal deal to help cut the costs of a day out.
In the afternoon we went back to the pavilion to visit the ice-cream parlour for ice creams and coffees, we met Laura Kerr the manageress who was extremely friendly & helpful and it was clear she really took pride in her work and this showed in how well run it was.
